Gui, the Ghost
Gui, The Ghost is a VN-style text adventure survival game, in which you play the role of the protagonist Gui. Gui is a dead young woman stuck in this world and must overcome a set of challenges to vanish into the afterlife eventually. As players investigate what happened to Gui, and collect the memories of Gui’s “beforelife” throughout the game, Gui will unlock new abilities by becoming more transparent until she eventually is able to disappear forever.

Hidden stories are revealed as players investigate what happened to their death. Through the gameplay, the players collect the snippet of their memories when they are alive. This will be a hint for how to solve the problem of Gui’s death, however, in the last level, the collection of memories will become a “Memory Bomb.” Once it becomes a “Memory Bomb”, it will randomly attack Gui as bad memories are stuck in the brain. Memory Bombs are the snippet of newspaper headlines about Hate crimes. When Memory Bomb attacks, you will have two choices: Altering the text for the next player or avoiding slowing down. Alternating the text will be stored in Memory Bomb libraries instead of the headlines.
Since Cheo-Nyeo Gui Shin is seen as something or someone that doesn’t belong here, the behaviour towards Gui reflects how we see “others.” For example, in the game's first level, the player will interact with people in the town to get help, but they will be scared of the player. The longer the player continues the game, the higher the intensity of people in the town toward Gui. Being more transparent will help to keep Gui in town.
